Broken Bells — the duo featuring Danger Mouse (Brian Burton) and The Shins‘ James Mercer — released the single “Love On The Run” along with a video directed by Johnny Chew for the song. The track is featured on the pair’s forthcoming third Broken Bells album, Into The Blue.
Into The Blue is set to arrive on October 7 via AWAL. The nine-track LP marks the duo’s first new album since 2014’s After The Disco. Burton and Mercer previously previewed the set by sharing singles “We’re Not In Orbit Yet…” and “Saturdays.”
“Love On The Run” spans over seven minutes and mixes throwback tones and futuristic sounds. Chew picks up where he left off in prepping the “We’re Not In Orbit Yet…” and “Saturdays” videos by taking viewers on a journey through time that compliments the music.
