Brett Dennen Shares ‘See The World’ Single

Singer-songwriter Brett Dennen released a new single, “See The World.” The song is the title track to an album Dennen has in the works which is set for a Summer 2021 release via Mick Music.
“See The World” is the initial taste from Dennen’s upcoming LP, his first full-length studio album in five years since 2016’s Por Favor. Dennen, however, has released a string of EPs in the interim and his 2018 single, “Already Gone,” cracked the Triple A Top 5 and became his highest charting single to date.

Dennen now previews the forthcoming album with the title track “See The World.” The singer-songwriter offered some sage words about the new single in a statement:
Everyone should have their open authentic experiences. The more you explore and the further you journey, the more empathy you can have for anyone on the planet. This song has taken on a more powerful meaning after this past year. Now that the world is opening up, I have both relief and anxiety. Van (Dennen’s son) is the reason I wrote this song. To tell him that it is more important to learn from himself than it is to learn from me.
