Watch boygenius Stay ‘Cool About It’ On ‘Colbert’
The song appears on the trio’s debut studio album, the record, which was issued earlier this year.

boygenius served as the musical guests on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The trio of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker performed “Cool About It” from their debut album, the record, which was released earlier this year.
Bridgers, Dacus and Baker shared a single microphone for the breathtaking performance. Julien strummed a banjo while Phoebe played acoustic guitar. boygenius’ beautiful harmonies were on full display throughout. The three musicians sealed “Cool About It” with a kiss.

boygenius will issue the four-song EP the rest next Friday, October 13. The trio recently unveiled all four tunes live in concert. The companion to the record was co-produced by boygenius and Tony Berg, Jake Finch, Ethan Gruska, Calvin Lauber, Collin Pastore and Marshall Vore.
