As reported, tomorrow night veteran performer Bonnie Raitt will embark on a Fall Tour with supporting act The California Honeydrops. Today the pair of performers have revealed they will be donating a portion of proceeds from merchandise sold on the tour to help with relief efforts in Haiti and Cuba.
Raitt and The California Honeydrops will donate 100 percent of proceeds from merch sales at tomorrow night’s tour opener at Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix and Saturday’s concert at Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque to Hope for Haiti, Haiti Communitere, The What If? Foundation, Partners In Health, Global Links and First-Hand Aid. The two acts plan to set up a similar donation platform in support of areas in Southeast United States also affected by recent hurricanes.
