Bonnaroo Announces 2017 Lineup

The 16th annual installment of Bonnaroo will be held this summer at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee. This morning, organizers announced the lineup of artists heading to the 700-acre farm in the Midwest the weekend of June 8 – 11. Over 100 acts will play Bonnaroo’s 13 unique stages over the course of the four-day event.

As previously reported, U2 is among the headliners as the Irish rockers will make their first-ever U.S. festival headlining appearance. The band will play a set that includes a complete performance of their 1987 album, The Joshua Tree. Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd and Chance The Rapper are also a top the lineup for Bonnaroo ’17. Additionally, Lorde, Cage The Elephant, The Head And The Heart, Big Gigantic, Umphrey’s McGee, Portugal. The Man, Margo Price, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Greensky Bluegrass, Khruangbin, Turkuaz and Twiddle are just a handful of the acts set to play The Farm in June. Umphrey’s McGee took part in the first Bonnaroo, which was held in 2002.

One of the hallmarks of Bonnaroo ever since the start are its Superjams. This year’s festival will host both a regular Superjam and a Bluegrass Situation Superjam Hosted By Ed Helms & Friends. Look for more details on the Superjams to be revealed in the coming months. Also, the comedy lineup and more musical additions will follow soon.
