Bon Jovi, Dire Straits & Nina Simone Among 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees

Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Nina Simone and others will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. They will be honored at the 33rd Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, April 14 at Cleveland’s Public Auditorium.

The 2018 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame class also includes The Cars and The Moody Blues. The Award For Early Influence was given posthumously to Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Simone, Tharpe, Dire Straits and The Moody Blues were all first-time nominees. Other eligible nominees not earning induction included The Meters, MC5, Radiohead,Rage Against The Machine, Eurythmics, Judas Priest, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and Link Wray.

The ceremony will once again be presented on television by HBO and broadcast on radio via SiriusXM. Details of the broadcasts have not been revealed.
