Bon Iver Announces Get Out The Vote Concerts In Wisconsin

Bon Iver will play three 46 For 46 concerts in their native Wisconsin this October. Presale tickets to the get out the vote events will go to those who sign a pledge to vote in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
Bon Iver will perform for the first time in three different Wisconsin cities, beginning on October 5 in La Crosse. Additional concerts will follow on October 7 in Wausau and on October 8 in Appleton. According to the announcement, “[f]ans must pledge to vote in order to gain access to presale tickets for all three shows before they go onsale to the public this Friday, February 21.” Presale tickets become available at 10 a.m. CT on Wednesday, February 19. The 46 For 46 campaign is an effort focusing on electing a Democrat as the 46th U.S. president. The project will present 46 concerts in 46 different cities. Other participants confirmed to date include Nathaniel Rateliff, Patty Griffin, Sylvan Esso, Lissie and others. Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon recently performed at a rally in Iowa in support of Senator Bernie Sanders’ campaign for president.
