Bon Iver Shares ‘Naeem’ Video

Bon Iver unveiled the video for “Naeem,” which as Rolling Stone notes is the group’s first official, non-lyrical music video since 2012’s “Beth/Rest.” The band tapped AG Rojas to direct the video for the song off 2019’s i,i.

“Naeem” was written by Justin Vernon, BJ Burton, Brad Cook, JT Bates, Noah Goldstein and Trever Hagen. The track features contributions from the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Bryce Dessner, Christian Warner, Graham Tolbert, Jenn Wasner, Rob Moose, Toni Pierce-Sands and the Worm Crew horns. Released via Jagjaguwar in August, i,i was recorded by Bon Iver at April Base in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and El Paso’s Sonic Ranch.

“‘Naeem’ is concerned with the potential for intergenerational healing, and how we choose to engage with that potential,” explained AG Rojas. Watch the “Naeem” video below:
