Bon Iver Shares ‘Everything Is Peaceful Love’ Single With John Wilson-Directed Video
The track appears on the recently announced album, SABLE, fABLE.

Bon Iver shared a new single, “Everything Is Peaceful Love,” from the recently announced album, SABLE, fABLE. A video directed by John Wilson, of HBO’s How To With John Wilson, accompanied the single’s release.
Founder Justin Vernon will issue SABLE, fABLE, the sixth Bon Iver album, through Jagjaguwar on April 11. The three songs making up the 2024 EP SABLE are the first three tracks of the 12-track SABLE, fABLE. The album was co-produced by Vernon and Jim-E Stack and recorded at Vernon’s April Base recording facility in Wisconsin.
“Everything Is Peaceful Love” features Vernon on bass, keyboard, guitar and vocals. Rounding out the recording included drummer BJ Burton, pedal steel guitarists Greg Leisz and Ben Lester, viola/violin player Rob Moose and synthesizers played by Jenn Wasner (Flock of Dimes) and Asher Weisberg.

Speaking about working with John Wilson on the “Everything Is Peaceful Love” video, Vernon shared:
“‘Everything Is Peaceful Love’ gives me what I want for this album, all in one video. The idea that happiness and joy are the highest form and the true buoyancy of survival, and even taking yourself less seriously could heal the world.
“I knew what kind of record I wanted to make the day we made ‘Everything Is Peaceful Love.’ I always knew that would be the feeling I wanted to share first. I wanted the video to just be people smiling uncontainably. Luckily, Eric Timothy Carlson suggested getting in touch with John Wilson from How To With John Wilson. Simply the most poignant and hilarious program in all of television.
“We were extremely fortunate that John liked the idea. He went out, shot a bunch of fun stuff, and edited it all to the song. It gives me what I want for this album, all in one video.
