Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Share ‘The Other One’ From ‘Live In Colorado Vol. 2’

released “The Other One” from their forthcoming Live In Colorado Vol. 2 album. The seven-track set arrives on vinyl, digitally and on CD through Third Man Records on October 7.

Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros: Live In Colorado Vol. 2 comes on the heels of the first installment, Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros: Live In Colorado, which arrived in February. Both sets feature highlights from the group’s four-show run in the Centennial State from June 2021. The band — Grateful Dead/Dead & Company guitarist Bob Weir, bassist Don Was, drummer Jay Lane, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz — played two nights at Red Rocks near Denver on June 8 and 9, 2021 before heading to Vail’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on June 11 and 12, 2021.

The Wolfpack string and horn section accompanied the band for portions of all four Colorado shows. “The Other One” featuring The Wolfpack — consisting of Alex Kelly, Brian Switzer, Adam Theis, Mads Tolling and Sheldon Brown — augmented Weir and Wolf Bros on the jazz-tinged “The Other One” played towards the end of the second set of night one in Vail.
