Bob Weir, Phil Lesh & Tim Flannery To Sing Anthem At Giants Game

Bob Weir will make his first public appearance since he abruptly cancelled all of his tour dates this Tuesday afternoon, when he’s scheduled to sing the National Anthem with his Grateful Dead/Furthur band mate Phil Lesh and Giants coach Tim Flannery at San Francisco’s AT&T Park before the Giants take on the St. Louis Cardinals in Game Three of the National League Championship Series.

You might recall that it was Flannery, who shared a note from Weir about his condition in the days following the cancellation of all Bobby dates. Lesh, Weir and Flannery have teamed up to sing the anthem in the past including at a 2012 playoff game.

Tuesday’s appearance will also mark the first time Weir and Lesh have performed together since January’s Paradise Waits destination festival in Mexico. Deadheadland first reported the upcoming performance from Weir, Lesh and Flannery, which was confirmed by Terrapin Crossroads.
