Bob Weir To Appear On New Josh Ritter Album ‘Gathering’

This fall singer-songwriter Josh Ritter will issue a new album entitled Gathering. Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir contributed vocals to one of the tracks on the upcoming new LP.
Ritter collaborated extensively with Weir, helping to write the songs on the Dead & Company frontman’s 2016 solo album Blue Mountain. NPR Music published an essay penned by Ritter regarding Gathering, and here’s how explained the collaborations with Weir:
I asked Bob Weir to sing on “When Will I Be Changed.” We had written his record, Blue Mountain, together, and working with him was deeply influential to my writing during this time.
