Watch Blues Traveler & Gin Blossoms Blend ‘Run-Around’ And ‘Hey Jealousy’ On ‘Kimmel’

Blues Traveler and joined forces for a medley of their respective hits, “Run-Around” and “Hey Jealousy,” on Wednesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The mashup served as a preview of the bands’ upcoming co-headlining summer tour.

The tour, which will also feature Spin Doctors, begins on July 4th at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Over 30 dates follow before all three bands end their time on the road together at Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond festival on September 14.

“We have a long and colorful history with Spin Doctors, and have crossed paths with Blues Traveler many times,” said Robin Wilson of Gin Blossoms. “A lot of people have great memories with these three bands. It will be a really fun summer.”

“Getting to play with dear old friends like Gin Blossoms and the Spin Doctors is one of the great benefits of a touring career that spans almost four decades now,” added John Popper of Blues Traveler. “These are exceptional players and performers, and they push us to play even harder. Everybody digs in and makes each other better. We are looking forward to a great year of music!”

2025 marks 30 years since Blues Traveler released their breakthrough hit “Run-Around,” which peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Gin Blossoms issued their breakthrough hit, “Hey Jealously,” in 1993.
