Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke will issue Find A Light, their sixth studio album, via Thirty Tigers on April 6. The band was joined by a number of guests on the 13-track effort including Amanda Shires. Blackberry Smoke recently unveiled audio of the song featuring Shires, “Let Me Down Easy.”
The band self-produced Find A Light, which features 13 new songs co-written by frontman/guitarist Charlie Starr. Blackberry Smoke recruited Robert Randolph and The Wood Brothers to contribute to the LP in addition to Shires. “The new album is a melting pot of Blackberry Smoke music with a wide range of sound and emotion. I think it’s our most inspired work yet,” said Starr of Find A Light.
