Black Pumas performed on Saturday at First Avenue in Minneapolis. Pro-shot full show video of the concert is available via Minnesota Public Radio station The Current.
Black Pumas’ set was part of The Current’s 15th-anniversary celebration. The Austin, Texas-based group led by vocalist Eric Burton and producer/guitarist Adrian Quesada played a total of eight songs from their 2019 self-titled debut album. The Grammy Award for Best New Artist-nominated band offered live versions of the record’s singles, dropping a mid-set take on “Black Moon Rising,” closing the set with “Colors” and capping the encore with “Fire.”
