Never-before-seen The Black Crowes footage from 1990 is featured in the “Charming Mess” video. The track appears on Shake Your Money Maker 30th Anniversary reissues due out on February 26th via UMe/American Recordings.

The Black Crowes released their debut studio album, Shake Your Money Maker, in 1990. “Charming Mess” is among the previously unreleased material included as part of the 30th anniversary reissues. The band’s lineup at the time featured vocalist Chris Robinson, guitarists Rich Robinson and Jeff Cease, bassist Johnny Colt and drummer Steve Gorman. George Drakoulias produced Shake Your Money Maker while Chris & Rich Robinson oversaw the reissues.

The “Charming Mess” video mixes footage of The Black Crowes from 1990 with photos from the group’s early days as well as forerunners Mr. Crowe’s Garden. Super Deluxe Shake Your Money Maker reissues contain the remastered album, previously unreleased tracks “Charming Mess,” “30 Days In The Hole” (Humble Pie) and “Jealous Guy,” b-sides, outtakes, Mr. Crowe’s Garden demos and The Homecoming Concert: Atlanta, GA December 1990. All come in a package that includes a 20-page book with liner notes by journalist David Fricke, a Black Crowes patch, setlist and tour laminate as well as reproductions of a Mr. Crowe’s Garden show flyer.

1-LP vinyl and 2-CD versions are also available. Watch The Black Crowes’ “Charming Mess” video below:
