Billy Strings Makes Late Night Television Debut On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Guitarist Billy Strings made his late night television debut on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Strings’ performance of “Taking Water” was recorded in Nashville at an empty The Station Inn.
Strings and his band mates, bassist Royal Masat, banjoist Billy Failing and mandolin player Jarrod Walker, played a pair of shows at an audience-less Station Inn last weekend as part of the Streaming Strings Tour. Molly Tuttle joined Strings on Saturday and Sunday’s concert featured special guest Bryan Sutton.
Strings’ late night debut was in support of the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) which is seeking Congressional relief for music venues facing closure due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. More information regarding NIVA is available at www.saveourstages.com.
