Billy Strings Details Inaugural Ionia Freak Fair

Billy Strings is bringing some of his musician friends to the area where he grew up with the inaugural Ionia Freak Fair. The two-day festival takes place August 28 – 29 at Ionia Community Fairgrounds in Ionia, Michigan.

Billy Strings will perform both nights of Ionia Freak Fair. Friday, August 28 will also see sets from Leftover Salmon, Lindsay Lou and Full Cord.

Joining Billy on the bil Saturday, August 29 are Greensky Bluegrass, Sierra Hull and Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper. In an interview, the guitarist mentioned there will be a “Pinball Tent” with metal bands.

A locals presale is currently underway. Tickets go on sale to the genral public Friday, February 13 at 12 p.m. ET.
