Billy Strings & Chris Thile Coming To ‘CBS Saturday Morning’
Tune in to CBS on Saturday, February 3 to watch the masterful musicians join forces.

Guitarist Billy Strings and mandolinist Chris Thile will appear together on an episode of CBS Saturday Morning airing on Saturday, February 3. The virtuosic musicians will perform for the program’s weekly “Saturday Sessions” series.
The joint appearance follows the pair’s sold-out show tonight at New York City’s David Geffen Hall. Thile and Strings’ performance this evening will be the last installment of The 65th Street Session concert series presented by the New York Philharmonic. Organist/pianist Cory Henry was recently added as a special guest.

The collaborative series was launched by Chris Thile and the NY Phil back in October of 2022. Past guests who have appeared with Thile as part of previous The 65th Street Session installments include Cory Wong, Meshell Ndegeocello, Madison Cunningham, Jacob Collier, Brad Mehldau and Tune-Yards.
Billy Strings recently shared a video from a rehearsal held with Chris Thile. The pair can be seen performing the traditional song “Wild Bill Jones.” Watch the clip below:
Strings will return to the road to kick off his winter tour with three nights in Asheville, North Carolina February 16 – 18. Thile and his Nickel Creek bandmates open their winter tour next Tuesday, February 6 at Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City.
