Billy Strings Unveils Animated Video For New Song ‘Catch & Release’

Billy Strings shared an animated video for a new song, “Catch & Release.” The visual and tune were inspired by real life events the guitarist experienced with Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman.

Both Billy and Vince have new projects on the way. On November 18, Strings is set to release a collaborative album with his father Terry Barber titled ME/AND/DAD. Vince’s debut solo album, Enjoy The Ride, arrives on November 18 as well.

In the video for Billy’s new tune “Catch & Release,” the two guitarists were enjoying a ride until they had a run in with the law. A fishing and herbal enthusiast, Billy’s “Catch & Release” involves both activities. The song and video tell the story of Billy and Vince’s trip to a Tennessee fishing hole, Dale Hollow, on October 6, 2020.
