On Sunday, Billie Eilish fit a surprise into the setlist for her first of three shows at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. Eilish unveiled a haunting cover of Radiohead's 1993 hit “Creep” halfway through the concert.
Billie Eilish has won high praise from Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke. “You’re the only one doing anything fucking interesting nowadays,” Yorke told Billie as her tour manager recounted to Rolling Stone in 2019. “I like Billie Eilish. She’s doing her own thing. Nobody’s telling her what to do,” Thom said in a Sunday Times interview published the same year.

“Creep” was originally released by Radiohead as their first single in 1992. The song is also featured on the band’s debut album, 1993’s Pablo Honey. Eilish joins a long and eclectic list of artists who have covered “Creep” including Prince, Weezer, Olivia Rodrigo, Korn and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.
The pop star performed the song in a stripped-down setting accompanied by a guitarist and two backing vocalists. Eilish broke form while singing “Creep” as she got a case of the giggles. Billie burst out laughing during the bridge but recovered to end the performance in fine form.
Eilish also performed “Creep” last night during her second Ziggo Dome show. The singer-songwriter is touring in support of her 2024 album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. She played eight songs from the LP at each concert.
