On the 20th anniversary of former Grateful Dead bandmate Jerry Garcia’s death, drummer Bill Kreutzmann appeared with Alex Bleeker & The Freaks at the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Kreutzmann joined Bleeker and crew Sunday for “The Other One” and “St. Stephen” during their noon set at the Panhandle Stage inside the famed Bay Area park.

Billy took to his social media outlets to let fans know about his surprise appearance on Sunday, noting Golden Gate Park was the site of an emotional Jerry Garcia memorial event in 1995.
