GUITAR GODS TO PLAY NYC’S (LE) POISSON ROUGE IN JUNE

We just got the heads up of an insane pairing of guitarists that will play a pair of shows in New York City this June. On June 11th, avant-garde six-stringers Bill Frisell, Marc Ribot and Nels Cline will team with multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily for an early and late show at (Le) Poisson Rouge.

The sets, which are part of the LPR x 5 series, will take place at 6:30 pm (early show) and 10 pm (late show). Wilco guitarist Nels Cline has a long history of performing with all three other members of this ensemble and in 2011 he teamed with Ribot for an impressive performance at (Le) Poisson Rouge.
