Big Thief delivered a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert for NPR. The quartet offered songs from their 2022 double album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You, along with an unreleased tune for the long-running NPR performance video series.
Big Thief, who NPR’s Bob Boilen notes is his favorite band, performs their Tiny Desk (Home) Concert from the top floor of a house in “windy Connecticut.” The laid-back session got underway with guitarist Adrianne Lenker leading fellow guitarist Buck Meek, percussionist James Krivchenia and bassist Max Oleartchik through two of her Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You songs, “Change” and “Dried Roses,” the latter a duet with Meek.
