Big Thief returned to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Tuesday. The quartet contributed a remote “Simulation Swarm” performance to last night’s episode for their first appearance on Colbert since 2019.

“Simulation Swarm” is featured on Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You, a studio album Big Thief released on February 11. The song has been a staple of the group’s live shows for years and finally received the studio treatment for the new LP.
