Ben Folds Adds Summer Dates To 2024 Paper Airplane Request Tour

Ben Folds tacked on dates to his Paper Airplane Request Tour 2024. The fresh stops on the pianist and singer-songwriter’s beloved, newly revived concept will take place in July and August.

Ben Folds confirmed the initial 2024 Paper Airplane Request Tour dates in March.

“The last time I did this on tour the response was overwhelming, with literally hundreds of paper airplanes with song requests being launched on cue from fans at the start of the second half of each of my concerts,” Folds stated upon announcing the solo piano trek.

The new dates come after the previously announced June run, beginning with a show at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont on July 12 followed by a swing through Westhampton Beach, New York. Ben Folds will then come to Nashville, Indiana on July 14.

New engagements in Lexington (Kentucky), Knoxville (Tennessee) and Wilmington (North Carolina) follow. After a previously announced concert in Boise, Idaho, Folds will head to Layton, Utah on July 31.

The pianist will also round out his Colorado run with a new date in Pueblo. Nest, the Paper Airplane Request Tour makes a stop in Amarillo, Texas on August 8.

Midwest shows in Wichita (Kansas), Des Moines (Iowa), Davenport (Iowa), Bloomington (Illinois) and Springfield (Missouri) follow. The final new concert on the books takes place at The Factory in St. Louis on August 18.
