Banjo maestro Bela Fleck and legendary jazz pianist Chick Corea have announced a Spring Tour. The duo will hit the road in support of the live album Two, which came out in September via Concord Jazz.

The tour begins at Forbes Center For The Performing Arts in Harrisonburg, Virginia on April 8 and is currently slated to run through a performance at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix on April 24. Along the way the pair will perform in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Louisiana, Tennessee, Minnesota, California and Nevada.

The duo first paired up in 2006 to record what would become 2007’s The Enchantment, which was supported by multiple years of touring. Two features the tracks recorded during those lengthy tours.

“We love to be spontaneous,” said Fleck on his collaboration with Corea. “Playing with Chick is one of the high- water marks in my musical life, and I’m amazed and proud that it came to be.”

Corea returned the compliments: “Béla is a continuous fountain of creativity. He always maintains a spirit of inquiry and high-level musical judgment. His work ethic is impeccable. That’s always inspiring to me.”
