‘Beastie Boys Music’ Compilation Due In October

Beastie Boys Music, a career-spanning Beastie Boys compilation album, will be released by UMe on October 23. The compilation is a companion to the documentary film Beastie Boys Story and memoir Beastie Boys Book.

The 20 songs selected for Beastie Boys Music were chosen from seven of the group’s albums. The tracks include: “Fight For Your Right,” “Brass Monkey,” “Paul Revere” and “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” off their 1986 debut Licensed To Ill; “Shake Your Rump” and “Hey Ladies” off their 1989 album Paul’s Boutique; “So What’Cha Want” and “Pass The Mic” off 1992’s Check Your Head; “Sure Shot” and “Sabotage” off 1994’s Ill Communication; “Body Movin’” and “Intergalactic” off 1998’s Hello Nasty; “Ch-Check It Out” off 2004’s To The 5 Boroughs; and “Make Some Noise” and “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win” off 2011’s Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.
