Bear’s Picnic Announces 2016 Festival Lineup

The 11th annual Bear’s Picnic music festival and family reunion will take place at Sunsational Family Campround in Milmont, Pennsylvania August 4 – 7. Today, Bear’s Picnic organizers have detailed the initial lineup for this year’s festival.
Melvin Seals & JGB featuring Jerry Garcia Band keyboardist Melvin Seals and the John Kadlecik Band featuring Furthur guitarist John Kadlecik have been tapped to headline Bear’s Picnic 2016. Godfathers Of Pot Medicine Show, Willie Jack & the Northern Light, Still Hand String Band, Mystery Fyre, Dr. Slothclaw, Crippled But Free, Duck Duck Goose and Mysterytrain round out the initial lineup. Additional acts will be revealed soon.
In addition to the music, Bear’s Picnic festivalgoers can enjoy the site’s swimming holes, fishing opportunities, kayaking, swimming pool, workshops, children’s activities and more. The music goes until 4 a.m. each night. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
