There’s good news and bad news from the Barry Manilow camp. While Manilow continues to recover well from cancer surgery and is still scheduled to begin his upcoming arena tour as expected, he’s postponed the February shows of his residency at the Westgate Las Vegas.

“I’m doing great and recovering very well after my surgery,” Manilow wrote about his current condition in a statement posted on social media. “I’ve been getting exercise and spending some time in the studio, which has been fantastic.”

The decision to postpone the concerts previously scheduled for February 12 – 21 comes from his doctor’s guidance and recommendation. Now, Manilow will be able to “stay focused on healing and getting ready for the tour that’s kicking off at the end of February,” he explained.

“Having a few extra weeks to rest and prepare is what the doctor ordered!” Manilow added.

Ticketholders can receive refunds via the point of purchase. Barry Manilow will resume his residency at the Westgate with concerts from March 26 – 28.
