Barry Gibb & Dolly Parton Share New Version Of Bee Gees’ ‘Words’

Dolly Parton teamed up with Barry Gibb for a new version of the Bee Gees classic, “Words.” The rendition will land on Gibb’s upcoming album, Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol 1, which arrives on January 8 via Capitol Records.

Gibb recorded Greenfields at the famed RCA Studios in Nashville with acclaimed producer Dave Cobb. Barry collaborated with a host of special guests on the record including Alison Krauss, Brandi Carlile, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Olivia Newton-John, Sheryl Crow, Tommy Emmanuel and more. Gibb previewed Greenfields in November with the Bee Gee’s “Words Of A Fool” featuring Jason Isbell.

Gibb’s duet with Parton is the last single before the album comes out. Dolly took to Twitter to share a teaser for the new track. Check out her tweet below:
