Bad Religion shared the song “Emancipation Of The Mind.” The track is an outtake from the renowned punk rockers’ 2019 album, Age Of Unreason.

Age Of Unreason marked Bad Religion’s first studio full-length record since 2013’s True North. The 2019 album is the Los Angeles-based band’s 17th studio effort overall. While the LP continues Bad Religion’s characteristic commentary on socio-political issues, the Age Of Unreason outtake “Emancipation Of The Mind” offers a solution to the maladies the band has railed against.

“I think the song really is a celebration of enlightenment values that can be cultivated through enthusiastic learning and open-mindedness,” vocalist and co-writer Greg Graffin said in a statement. “So often we’re told what to think. But learning how to think (as opposed to learning what to think) is a true feeling of emancipation from the constraints of indoctrination that are so commonplace in our society.”
