Bad Company With Rich Robinson Debuts The Beatles Cover

British rockers Bad Company recently brought their current U.S. Tour with Joe Walsh to MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida. Original Bad Company guitarist Mick Ralphs is sitting out this tour, and The Black Crowes guitarist Rich Robinson has been filling in, including contributing to a debut cover of a The Beatles classic song.

Mid-way into a set that opened with “Live For The Music” and saw such favorites as “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” Bad Company launched into Ralphs’ former band Mott The Hoople’s “Ready For Love.” That cover performance was followed by another cover, this time in the form of the first live rendition of The Beatles’ “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” played by Bad Company. The tour debut of “Run With The Pack” followed, and the rest of the set was filled out with such classics as “Movin’ On,” “Shooting Star,” and “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy” and the “Bad Company” second encore.
