The Avett Brothers summer tour arrived in Portland, Maine on Tuesday. The North Carolina-born band broke out “Pretty Girl From Raleigh” for their performance at Thompson’s Point.

The cut off The Avett Brothers’ 2003 studio album A Carolina Jubilee came as the penultimate song of the show. The Avett Brothers first performed “Pretty Girl From Raleigh” on April 16, 2004 in Charlotte during the album release show for their 2004 LP Mignonette, as per fan site November Blue. The band has performed the song 134 times but had not played it since October 27, 2017 for a gap of 435 shows.
