The Avett Brothers Perform ‘I Go To My Heart’ On ‘Fallon’ & Share Live Single

The Avett Brothers returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday for a performance of “I Go To My Heart.” Scott Avett, Seth Avett and Bob Crawford‘s appearance on Fallon came in honor of The Avett Brothers releasing a “I Go To My Heart” live digital single today.

“I Go To My Heart” was originally issued by The Avetts on their 2020 studio album, The Third Gleam. The version that aired on last night’s Fallon was filmed at the Belk Theater in the band’s hometown of Charlotte.

The “I Go To My Heart” live single features the sound of birds chirping as Scott sings the track. Otherwise, the version keeps with the tone and stripped-down feel of the studio recording.
