‘Austin City Limits’ Returns To Close Season 50 In Style: Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton & More
Norah Jones, Carín León, The Avett Brothers, Mickey Guyton and Hurray for the Riff Raff will also appear in upcoming episodes of the landmark television series.

Austin City Limits rings in 2025 with the back half of its historic 50th season featuring six new episodes that showcase both familiar faces and newcomers to the legendary television series. The star-studded roster includes return performances from Willie Nelson & Family, Chris Stapleton and Norah Jones, while welcoming first-time appearances from Carín León, Mickey Guyton and Hurray for the Riff Raff.
Season 50 resumes on January 11, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET with Norah Jones and Hurray For The Riff Raff sharing the hour. All episodes air on PBS stations nationwide (check local listings) and can be streamed at pbs.org/austincitylimits shortly after the initial broadcast.

The Avett Brothers are back on January 18 for the first time since appearing in the program’s milestone Season 40. Carín León and Mickey Guyton then make their ACL debuts in an hour premiering on January 25.
Ten-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton brings his stadium-size show to the Austin City Limits stage on February 1 before Sturgill Simpson Presents Johnny Blue Skies on February 8. Fittingly, Willie Nelson will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his 1974 taping by closing out the landmark season on February 15.
A highly-anticipated two-hour primetime PBS special, Austin City Limits Celebrates 50 Years, rounds out the series’ half-century celebration offerings on April 4. The all-star affair features performances by Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr. joined by Eve Monsees, Billy Strings featuring Sierra Hull, Indigo Girls, Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin, Brandy Clark, Rufus Wainwright, The Mavericks, Ángela Aguilar and many others. Austin-based actors Jared and Genevieve Padalecki co-host.
