Ari Joshua, Delvon Lamarr, Skerik & Grant Schroff Release Sizzling ‘Pork Fat’ Single

Prolific guitarist Ari Joshua teamed with longtime collaborators saxophonist Skerik, organist Delvon Lamarr and Polyrhythmics' Grant Schroff on drums to drop the funky new single “Pork Fat.” The fiery instrumental is out now on Music Factory Records.

“Pork Fat” dates back years before Ari and Delvon started recording together to their weekly organ trio sets across the Pacific Northwest. The simmering cut was a staple of their performances. The studio version is infused with the energy from the stage as the quartet captured “Pork Fat” live in one session.

Ari Joshua, Delvon Lamarr, Skerik and Grant Schroff are no strangers as the four musicians have previously released a series of tracks together including “Say Whatcha Wanna Say,” “Spooky,” “Rare Groove” and “The Clinic.” More new music from the quartet, “From The Vine” and “Scared Of Eric,” will follow through Music Factory Records.

Composed by Joshua and Lamarr, “Pork Fat” was engineered by Mell Dettmer, mixed by Jason Gray and mastered by Doug Krebs. Deepgroove Designs’ Chris Ball created the cover art.
