Ari Fink Launches New Music Venue In New York’s Westchester County

Longtime SiriusXM DJ and executive Ari Fink took to social media on Monday to announce he’s no longer with the satellite radio company and share details of his next venture. Fink has partnered with the Soulfuel Hospitality Group to open an as of yet unnamed music venue powered by Goodhouse in Mount Kisco, New York.

The Prelude: The Loft Series will introduce live music lovers to the space located within Northern Westchester County, starting with performances from Flavor Drop this weekend on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8. The lineup for the ensemble put together by Fink features guitarist Matt Jalbert and keyboardist AC Carter of TAUK and lespecial bassist Luke Bemand joined by drummer Dan Fernandez.

“Flavor Drop will be leaning into a sonic foundation of hypnotic, instrumental hip-hop grooves and recognizable beats to showcase their improvisational chops,” reads a description of the group. “This unique ensemble, carefully curated and produced by longtime music exec Ari Fink, will be creating a sound that’s both fresh and familiar, fun and fierce, and downright funky for dance floor aficionados to get down to.”

Fink, who comes off a 17-year tenure at SiriusXM, will DJ both before and after each band takes the stage at the new venue. The Prelude: The Loft Series will continue with Paris Monster March 14 – 15, Cloudchord March 21 – 22, Ryan Scott March 28 – 29, Evan Jennison April 4 – 5 and Jamie McLean April 11 – 12. Multi-instrumentalist Stuart Bogie is currently slated to end Prelude with concerts on April 18 and 19.
