The Arcs Among Newport Folk Festival Lineup Additions

Dan Auerbach’s The Arcs are the latest addition to the lineup for this year’s Newport Folk Festival. The band is expected to perform on Friday, July 22. Singer Aoife O’Donovan and supergroup Middle Brother have also recently been added to the 2016 lineup.
The 2016 installment of the Newport Folk Festival will take place at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island July 22 – 24. Previously announced performers include Del & Dawg, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Flight Of The Conchords, Norah Jones, Ray LaMontagne, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Raury, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Father John Misty, The Oh Hellos, Villagers and Joan Shelley, among others. More acts are expected to be announced soon.
