Ana Popovic Announces Guest-Filled New Album ‘Trilogy’

Guitarist Ana Popovic has announced a new guest-filled triple album Trilogy. The new LP from the Memphis-based musician features 23 tracks and will be released on May 20.

Produced by Warren Riker, Tom Hambridge and Delfeayo Marsalis, the record includes contributions from many guest artists. Among those appearing on Trilogy are Joe Bonamassa, Robert Randolph, North Mississippi Allstars’ Cody Dickinson, Bernard Purdie, rapper Al Capone and others.

“In an era where most are skeptic about the current state and future of the music industry, I wanted Trilogy to tell a different story,” the Belgrade-born Popovic said in a statement. “The record biz might be broken and Spotify might rip us off, but that can’t keep an artist down. Creativity is very much alive, and music is the celebration of life.”

Popovic is currently on tour as part of the Experience Hendrix ensemble. Pre-orders for Trilogy begin on Monday, March 14.
