Watch Amanda Shires Perform ‘Slow Falling Snow’ At Carter Vintage Guitars

The song appears on Shires’ newly released holiday album, ‘For Christmas.’

Amanda Shires shared a video featuring a performance of her song, “Slow Falling Snow,” filmed at Nashville’s Carter Vintage Guitars. Shires is backed by pianist Mike Webb on the song from her recently released holiday album, For Christmas.

“Slow Falling Snow” is one of nine originals featured on For Christmas which also includes covers of Frank Loesser’s “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” and traditional Christmas carol “Silent Night.” Amanda Shires wrote “Slow Falling Snow” with keyboardist Peter Levin.

For Christmas was produced by Lawrence Rothman. Contributors to the album include Levin, Rothman, gospel singers The McCrary Sisters, The 400 Unit bassist Jimbo Hart, guitarist Pat Buchanan and drummer Fred Eltringham.
