Watch All IN Festival’s Fab Beatles Dreamset Featuring Cory Wong, Karina Rykman, Eggy & More

The All IN Music & Arts Festival this past weekend at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis boasted two Dreamsets featuring the music of Led Zeppelin — led by Jason Bonham and Umphrey’s McGee — and The Beatles. The latter saw guest spots from Cory Wong, Karina Rykman, Eggy and more.

The ALL INdy ALLstars — guitarist Doug Henthorn, drummer Dane Clark, keyboardist Troy Kinnett, guitarist Kevin Silva and bassist Jack Taylor — acted as the house band for the Beatles Dreamset, with guest musicians popping in for a song or two.

The Butler Brass Allstars helped the ALL INdy ALLstars kick off the set with “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” and “Magical Mystery Tour.” Eggy then joined in for “Can’t Buy Me Love” with drummer Alex Bailey on lead vocals. Guitarist Quinn Sullivan then fronted “All My Loving” backed by the IU Hoosier Singers.

Next, keyboardist Ben “Smiley” Silverstein and guitarist Max Newman of The Main Squeeze sat in for “She Loves You,” “I Want To Hold Your Hand” and “A Hard Day’s Night,” with the latter featuring bassist Karina Rykman on vocals. Eggy and the Butler Brass Allstars then returned for “Revolution 1” (the White Album version).

Karina then added bass and vocals to another White Album standout, “Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey.” Next, guitarist Cory Wong emerged for “Come Together” before Andy Frasco came out for “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road” and stayed on for “Back In The U.S.S.R,” the latter with guitarist Shawn Eckels singing lead and tearing things up on his axe.

Quinn Sullivan and the IU Hoosier Singers rejoined for “Dear Prudence” while The Main Squeeze members and Cory Wong returned for “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” which featured fretboard fireworks from Cory and Max. Most of the guests then joined in for set closer “Get Back.”
