The Journal reports that “developers from Walther Productions Inc. and All Good Festival Inc. presented their request for use of the Stiles family farm, located near Kabletown Road, for the festival” at a meeting of the Jefferson County, WV Board of Zoning Appeals that took place yesterday. All Good organizers looked to extend a seasonal use permit, “which limits an event to not more than three consecutive days during each solar season” since past festivals have run for four days. The Journal adds that, “The All Good Festival would run from a Thursday afternoon until Monday, sometime in July or August of 2014.”
The Journal provided a Google Map showing the location of the Stiles family farm near Charles Town, WV just above the border of West Virginia and Virginia:
Though some area residents voiced concerns, the board approved the festival organizer’s request for an extension of the seasonal use permit under the condition that “event staff follow up with more plans and information about how they will address some of the public’s concerns.” The All Good Music Festival was started in 1997 and moved to Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, WV in 2003, where it was held until 2011. Legend Valley in Thornville, OH hosted the event in 2012 and 2013. All Good Music Festival representatives were unable to be reached by press time.
