Albarn, Snoop & Del Team For Gorillaz’s Clint Eastwood At SXSW

SXSW continued in Austin last night, where Damon Albarn performed at the Fader Fort and brought out a pair of guests to help out on Gorillaz’s bit hit -“Clint Eastwood.” One of the songs original artists, Del The Funky Homosapien, spit some of the songs verses with Albarn for the first time, while Snoop Dogg also joined in on the action at Fader Fort.

What’s crazy is that not only was last night the first time Del The Funky Homosapien performed “Clint Eastwood” since its 2001 release, but it was also the first time Albarn actually met Del. “It’s actually quite a momentous moment,” Damon told ABC News. Albarn’s set also featured a take on Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.” with De La Soul.
