Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard has quietly and mysteriously released a new album under the moniker “Thunderbitch.” The self-titled debut album is available to stream at thundabetch.com and is also available to download via iTunes and on vinyl.

As noted by Nashville Scene, Thunderbitch made their debut in 2012 and includes members of Fly Golden Eagle and Clear Plastic Masks. The group’s website is shrouded in mystery, listing members of the band under pseudonyms: Thunderbitch, Matt Man, B Bone, ThunderMitch, Char Man and A Man, and revealing little else about the group or its plans.

As for live shows, the Tour section of the website reads only “Maybe someday….?” Below check out a brief trailer shared by Thunderbitch and head here to stream the new record in full.
