Each year Sammy Hagar and James Hetfield host the “Acoustic-4-A-Cure” benefit concert to raise needed funds and awareness for the pediatric cancer research and donate all of the proceeds to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Acoustic-4-A-Cure IV will be held at The Fillmore in San Francisco on May 15.
Artists confirmed for Acoustic-4-A-Cure IV are Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Don Felder, Mick Fleetwood, Dave Grohl, Sammy Hagar, Vic Johnson, Sarah McLachlan, Steve Vai and Bob Weir. Dave Grohl will sit-in for James Hetfield, who will be away on tour. Past concerts have featured acoustic sets, impressive collaborations and impromptu jams.
