AC/DC appears to be on the verge of a big announcement. A countdown timer is live on the band’s website ticking away the seconds until 3 a.m. ET on Monday, February 12.
The legendary band’s social feeds have also been teasing what fans hope will be the first AC/DC tour since 2016. In the initial post, the group’s lightning bolt icon and logo are displayed along with the words “Are You Ready” as the song of the same name blasts. Additional portions of the cut from the band’s 1990 album, The Razors Edge, have soundtracked the two latest posts counting down the days until Monday.

AC/DC took the stage on October 7, 2023 at the inaugural Power Trip festival for their first show in seven years. The 24-song set featured a lineup of vocalist Brian Johnson, founding member Angus Young on lead guitar, longtime bassist Cliff Williams, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young and drummer Matt Laug. Matt Laug was behind the kit at the festival in Indio, California despite longtime drummer Phil Rudd contributing to AC/DC’s Power Up album in 2020.
