The longstanding biannual event is held Memorial Day weekend at Legend Valley (formerly Buckeye Lake Music Center) in Thornville, Ohio. This is the 15th year ekoostik hookah has hosted this event. This 31st installment surely makes this the granddaddy of band curated jam oriented festivals, and JamBase raises a glass of the good stuff to the band for their tenacity and perseverance in keeping this tradition alive.

The initial lineup for Hookahville XXXI is:

ekoostik hookah (2 nights, 4 sets)
Les Claypool
The Wailers
Toubab Krewe
The Ark Band
Oakhurst
Freekbass
Mifune
Sweet Water Meltdown
Higgins-Madewell Band

More acts to be announced.

Gates open at 8 am on Saturday, May 23. Early Bird Camping available for Friday, May 22 at 3 pm. Early Discounted tickets and VIP tickets now available at HERE.

Always seeking to give its attendees the best experience possible, for the first time ever Hookahville is offering a limited amount of VIP tickets for only $150. This never-before-offered package includes behind-the-stage camping next to your car with easy access into the concert bowl and expanded facilities. These limited VIP tickets are available only in advance and will not be available for purchase at the gate.

Another Hookahville first, following the end of music on the late-night stage, there will be an all-night Disco Tent in the Concert Bowl for keeping the party going until the crack of dawn.

Beginning as a humble fundraiser and campout on band co-founder Dave Katz’s wooded property, the two-day event has grown steadily over the past 15 years. In the past, Bob Weir & RatDog, Willie Nelson, David Crosby, Arlo Guthrie, David Grisman, Dickey Betts, Galactic, Jazz Mandolin Project, Leftover Salmon, Keller Williams, among dozens of other notable artists, have played the Hookahville stage.

With family friendly and quieter camping areas, Hookahville’s younger attendees can enjoy Kidz Jam as those 12 and under are admitted to the festival without charge with a paid adult. Expanded from previous years, this season’s Kidz Jam features a gigantic obstacle course, face painters, clowns along with plenty of crafts and recycling projects designed to delight and educate.

A limited number of $50 tickets are available now. After these are gone, tickets will go up to $65 and then go up to $80 at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted to the festival free with a paid adult. Each Hookahville ticket includes music, parking from Saturday at 8 am – Monday at noon, along with all of the basic camping necessities with restrooms, drinkable water, a medical tent and handicap accessible camping sites. Numerous vendors are also set up onsite offering a variety of cuisines to choose from and other merchandise.

. Early bird tickets are available at the gate only beginning Friday, May 22 at 3 PM EST. Early bird tickets allow early entry, camping and music for an additional $20 with a paid festival ticket.
