Vedder’s set came after performances from Boston and Chicago all-stars including a Pixies cover that featured Umphrey’s McGee guitarist Brendan Bayliss, Wilco bassist John Stirratt and Cheap Trick drummer Daax Nielsen. Eddie kicked off his set with a few solo selections including a cover of The Beatles’ “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away.” The singer/guitarist was then joined by a band that included Epstein on guitar for a mix of classic covers and Pearl Jam material. Vedder played piano on “Comfortably Numb,” while “Corduroy” featured sax. The evening’s grand finale saw Vedder joined by the members of the Cubs team and organization for “All The Way.”
