Tour Dates | Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers 2014

This morning Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers not only announced an extensive North American tour, but also the upcoming release of a new studio album. Hypnotic Eye, the follow-up to 2010’s Mojo, is set for a July 29th release. Those purchasing tickets to see the Heartbreakers on the just-announced tour will receive a copy of Hypnotic Eye. In a pairing we can get behind, Steve Winwood will open for the Heartbreakers this tour.

The tour kicks off at Viejas Arena in San Diego on August 3 and is currently scheduled to run through an October 10th visit to The Forum in Los Angeles. Along the way the band will perform in major cities across the U.S. and Canada. The tour also includes the Heartbreakers’ first visit to Fenway Park in Boston on August 30. Tickets to most shows go on sale via Ticketmaster on Saturday, May 31.

Hypnotic Eye will be available in CD, digital, high resolution Blu-ray audio and vinyl formats. Look for the vinyl to be released as both 1-LP and 2-LP sets, with the 2-LP set to feature an additional track not available in any other format. Those who preorder the digital album via iTunes or Amazon starting on June 3 will be entitled to an instant download of the first of several Hypnotic Eye tracks that will be unveiled prior to the release date.
